Fireproofing for Structural Steel

Vermiculite Fireproofing Spray
Amberlite Vermiculite spray is a tough, hard and highly stable passive fire protection coating applied to steel structures by spray. It is intended to prevent and delay the collapse of steel in the case of a fire by isolating it from high temperatures. It can be also applied by troweling, when necessary. It consists of a factory-produced blend of exfoliated vermiculite, cementitious binders and rheological and mix dispersing agents supplied as a dry mix to which clean water is added on site. It does not respond to any type of expansion, foaming, or chemical reaction to impart fire prevention qualities.

Intumescent Paint
Intumescent coatings are thin film coatings that resemble paint. Often used as an aesthetic element in the designs and providing a cost-effective approach to satisfy strict fire safety regulations. Intumescent coatings when exposed to fire, they expand and produce a charred coating, shielding the steel from heat.

Fire-rated Curtain / Fire-rated Glass For Compartmentation

Insulated Fire Rated Fabric Shutters / Fire Curtain
A fire-rated fabric shutter also commonly known as a fire curtain is an active fire protection system made out of flexible fabric material that may be deployed to form a fire barrier in the event of a fire. The curtain can be installed in a variety of locations, including void areas, escape paths, and so on, to prevent fires from spreading. It comes in two versions: insulated and non-insulated.

Non Insulated Fire Rated Fabric Shutters / Fire Curtain
Our Fire-rated Fabric Shutters (Fire Curtain) comprise a single layer of grey coloured lightweight combined fabric that descends to complete a fire compartment.
Our mechanical designs allow our Fire-rated Fabric Shutters (Fire Curtain) to be installed without any intermediate segments for wide openings to achieve a clear site when it is not activated. This is commonly applicable to the perimeter of void areas of commercial buildings.
Our Fire-rated Fabric Shutters (Fire Curtain) are customizable to different shapes to cater to different site conditions and design requirements.
Non-insulated Fire-rated Fabric Shutters (Fire Curtain) compart fire in the event of a fire.

Amberglaze Fire-Rated Glass
Amberglaze fire-rate glass is specially designed to restrict the spread of flame and smoke in the event of a fire. It can also impede the transfer of radiative and conductive heat. Fire-rated glass could enhance building interior aesthetics and ability to provide a strong barrier against flame and heat during a fire outbreak. It is utilized in a variety of applications such as transparent walls, shopfronts, and door assemblies.

Fire-rated Shutters
Fire-rated shutters are designed prevent the spread of fire and smoke in the event of a fire. It can provide up to 4 hours fire protection. Under normal circumstances, it can serve as a security shutter. In the event of a fire, the fire-rated shutters can isolate and compartmentalize fire.

Firestopping For Construction Joints & Openings

Sealant- Based Firestop System
Sealant-based firestop systems include water based acoustic acrylic sealant and mineral wool boards coated on both faces with a flexible waterborne fire resistant ablative coating. They are designed for low movement openings and gaps around cable, pipes and ducts that penetrates floors and walls. They are tested and certified to meet the requirement of BS 476: Part 20: 1987.

Mortar- Based Firestop System
Mortar-based firestop systems are designed for rigid, gas-tight sealing around building services such as pipes, cables and trucking. This system reinstate the fire resistance of separating walls and floors where fire compartmentation is required. It is tested and certified to meet the requirement of BS 476: Part 20: 1987 in conjunction with prEN 1366-3: 2002 guidance.
Firestopping For Facade

Curtain Wall
Siderise curtain wall fire stop systems (CW-FS) offer an extensive range of solutions for fire stop, smoke stop and sound barrier requirements in all architectural cladding panel applications. Curtain wall fire-stop solutions comprise a range of factory-engineered fire-stopping and smoke seal systems for horizontal and vertical compartmentation, and perimeter barrier systems for spandrel protection. They are designed to inhibit fire, and smoke from spreading floor-to-floor, compartment-to-compartment, and from breaking out through the spandrel panel. They also serve as an effective sound barrier for noise control (25 Rw(dB)) and are complemented by a suite of acoustic treatments to further reduce sound transmission via the perimeter joint and mullion profiles.

Open ventilated façade
Siderise RH and RV 'Open State' Cavity barriers have been specifically developed to meet the requirements for the cavity barrier used in drained and ventilated facades. It ensures the system will drain any moisture within the facade construction while maintaining airflow in the event of fire which provides an effective hot smoke and fire seal. Siderise RV vertical cavity barriers for rainscreen cladding are used to fulfil the void between the external envelope and internal structure. By fully sealing the void, they assist ventilated facade to function by maintaining air-pressurisation compartmentation. Most Importantly, their unique stone wool lamella core enables the vertical barriers to accommodate the serviceability movement which is normally associated with rainscreen facades. The leading edge of the horizontal cavity barriers was encapsulated in a weather-resistant polymer film. As standard, the film is black so as to register as a 'shadow-line' behind open joints in the cladding.

Firestop for Raised Floor
Cavity Barriers for Raised Floor
Siderise cavity barrier and fire stop systems for raised floors to prevent the spread of fire and smoke, and reduce sound transmission, by sealing the voids between raised access floors and floor slabs.
The range includes options to either subdivide large uninterrupted cavities or to provide continuity of fire resistance when aligned underneath partitions. Across the range, these simple-to-install systems have been tested for fire performance, acoustic performance and for use as a plenum liner.
They have been designed as a one-piece system and afford easy cutting and installation. Additionally, due to a unique method of manufacture, the products also offer unique vertical compression to allow tightness of fit.
The excellent acoustic performance of the material is due to the unique internal construction of the stone wool lamella core. It enhances the ‘room-to-room’ sound reduction by 25 (Rw)dB of raised access floors which form a continuous common void under adjacent areas. This invariably results in improved speech privacy and greater control of disturbance from intrusive noise.

Light-weight Concrete For Roof Insulation
Vermix® Lightweight Concrete
Vermix consists of Portland cement and vermiculite. It enhances versatility in design, high performance as well as reasonable cost for architects, engineers and contractors. It not only possesses all the qualities of a good insulating material but also has other characteristics which give the material the ability to diversify; such as furnace insulation, tropical housing and refrigeration, external weatherproofing and internal plastering.

Exfoliated Vermiculite
Vermiculite G2 / G4
Vermiculite is mineralogical, it resembles mica in appearance and is subjected to heat, it has the unusual property of exfoliating or expanding, due to the generation of interlinear steam.
Within the internal structure of vermiculite lie water molecules, which when rapidly heated to high temperature, transform into steam causing the vermiculite particulars to increase in volume. In exfoliated form, it has the low density and biological inertness of expanded perlite, while maintaining a chemically active surface.
The cation exchange potential of vermiculite and its layer-silicate structure are properties which can be used as the basis for numerous products including intumescent coatings and gaskets, inorganic films and treatment of nuclear and other toxic waste. The physical thickness of the vermiculite particles can be altered by both thermal exfoliation and chemical exfoliation.

Fire Rated Board
Amberfire FD120 is a high performance, light weighted asbestos free thermal insulation board. Its high strength, non-flammable, moisture proof and low thermal conductivity properties made it an ideal board to insulate area where high humility is expected. FD120 is simple to work with, it is simple to trim and pre-drilling of hole is not require.
