Sealant- Based Firestop System

   

Description
Sealant-based firestop systems include water based acoustic acrylic sealant and mineral wool boards coated on both faces with a flexible waterborne fire resistant ablative coating. They are designed for low movement openings and gaps around cable, pipes and ducts that penetrates floors and walls. They are tested and certified to meet the requirement of BS 476: Part 20: 1987.


Characteristics And Features
  • Up to 4 hours fire resistance (Integrity and insulation).
  • Independently fire tested and assessed to the requirement of BS 476: Part 20: 1987 and performance certified by Bodycote Warringtonfire Certification.
  • Tested for use in both floor and wall constructions including lightweight partitions.
